A Great Event at the Mystic Yachting Center

We strung capiz shell chandeliers and used driftwood with cymbidium orchid heads and sahara roses. A carribean blue taffeta was used to celebrate the waterviews. Pictured past senators Kathy Cook and Lenny Winkler with Governor Jodi Rell.

We were asked to decorate the Mystic Yachting Center for a tribute to state senators Kathy Cook and Lenny Winkler. Chaz Zezulka had elisted the help of Ocean Blue Catering which once again dazzeled us with their food. Karen Barth of The Cartells provided a wonderful guitar player and these amazing pictures were taken by Ken Lopardo. Over 200 hundred guests including Governor Jodi Rell were there to pay homage to Kathy and Lenny for all their years of service to Southeastern Connecticut. Thanks again for inviting us to take part in this wonderful event!

Driftwood with cybidium orchid heads and sahara roses, pillar candles on lagoon crushed taffeta. Fan coral tied with orchid head and amaranthus. custom wedding program by Ann Palica and sea star on brown satin napkins. We loved designing this by the shore table.

This winter we partnered up with Cisco Brewers/Nantucket Vineyard and decorated 3 tables at the WellWed - A Wedding Affair Bridal show in Brewster, MA. We made a garden table with a beautiful hand beaded chartreuse overlay, bright floral on a glass hurricane with vintage salt shakers filled with matching hot pink roses. The bouquest was sahara roses, hypericum berrries encased in grapevine from my yard. We wanted to give spring to our visitors show brought in 8 ft flowering quince branches. On the main table we filled large pilsners with antique hydrangea and giant calla lilies wrapping the pilsner with chocolate raw silk ribbon. Thanks to Rentals Unlimited for the beutiful glass chargers and chivari chairs for our tables. Our other table Annie referred to as our mermaid table. What a great show and The Ocean's Edge Resort is a gorgeous venue!

Dalias from a local award winning dahlia grower, thanks Gail, added brilliance to the centerpeices. A sparkler farewell. We loved working with Sugarbelle who provided the cupcakes for the cupcake tower. More photos avaialable at www.tonyspinelliphotography.com and on www.agalaaffair.com .

Cocktail hour on the stone patio guests were greeted with a neutral elegant color palette of white, beige, and brown.

In the barn we used vibrant colors of red, 24 foot trees were brought in strung with white lights and vintage outdoor lights were weaved through the beams. What a fun wedding!

Antique Hydrangea, roses and wheat in chiffon

At the Barns at Wesleyan Hills and the First Congregational Church of Cheshire we had the honor of creating a stunning event for Sarah and Alex. We decorated the pews with chiffon and hydrangrea, wheat and rose clutches. In memory of her grandmother a cardinal was perched on one pew arrangements. The tent was draped with white chiffon, cocktail tables had white pumpkins and brown leaves. White pillows lined the stone slab bench. In the rustic barn we draped red organza on one of the walls of the barn, brought trees in and strung vintage outside lights to help create Sarah's own Gone With The Wind dance hall scene.

stunning!

This past summer we brought in four 24Ft trees to a tent at the Branford House, we uplighted and added 150 hand blown votives to the trees. Thanks to A Thyme To Cook for choosing us to help make this bride's vision come true. Christine Keene Photography captured these gorgeous images for us.
