Old Saybrook Wedding

Vintage is huge this year. For this bride, we painted the table numbers onto antique china plates. No two plates we the same, they all had varied shapes, colors, and patterns on them. We also incorporated china holders with the arrangements. Each holder had an arrangements placed in it and the top of the holder was leaned up against it so you could really see the detail of the china pattern. No two colors or patterns were the same throughout, which gave each table its own unique design.

To bring in some natural elements we placed some bare manzanita branches into a tall glass vase. To make the branches look nicer, we hung chandelier crystals off of of them as well as glued flower heads onto the branches to add some color. This gave some of the tables great height and looked really elegant scattered throughout the dining room.

Instead of having the name cards scattered out around a table we went for something a little different. We again brought in natural elements and used tall manzanita branches, and placed them in a glass vase with water and rocks. We then tied all of the name cards onto the bare branches. By the time all of the cards were tied on to the branches, it resembled leaves on a tree. This idea can also we done for a well wishes tree, where guests can leave well wishes for the couple on the tree.
