Jonathan Edwards Vineyard Wedding

 

This beautiful May wedding had a gorgeous backdrop of the Jonathan Edwards Vineyard.

 

For the groom's boutonniere a freesia flower with grape vine around the back was used.  It creates a more manly look while still using the beautiful flower.  

The bride's beautiful bouquet was made from white peony flowers, purple tulips, lilacs, wax flowers, spray roses, dusty miller, and accents of maiden hair fern. The purple flowers went very nicely with her green sequin dress. 

 For the rustic farm theme this wooden "Wedding" sign is a good accent.

When having a vineyard wedding, there will most likely be barrels such as this one.  Here it is decorated with a floral arrangement that includes roses, hydrangeas, pittosporum, white larkspur, lilacs, and an accent of curly willow.  This arrangement was placed with a wrought iron stage coach lantern which goes along with the farm theme.  The bride brought in the hitching post next to the barrel that was decorated with ivy and lilac.  

A good idea for a centerpiece flower holder for this farm theme was the use of brown paper bags.  It is different and unique.  The flowers arranged in the paper bag were lilacs, white and purple tulips, hydrangeas, and roses.  The cornucopia was also a good decoration for holding chips.

This is an idea for making well-wishes.  Guests fill out the tags and place them in the bowl.  Later the bride used them to hang on her Christmas tree.  This went along with the rustic farm theme.

 

For the table set-up, burlap was used for the runner with flower arrangements going down the long tables.  The flower arrangements included hydrangeas, white roses, white veronica, white delphinium, tulips, trachelium, and curly willow. The green and white flower colors with the burlap really added to the rustic theme.

 

For table seating cards, burlap bags with wine charms inside were used.  It was creative and included a little gift for the guests.

White and green hydrangeas, white roses, lizianthis, wax flowers, thistle, and veronica were placed in an arrangement in a vintage antique shelf.  Wrought iron stage coach lanterns were placed on the tables with the flowers to keep the rustic theme and add a different look.  Mercury glass votives were used for the candles.

A ladder was a creative way to show pictures of the family and to hold flower arrangements of roses in vintage Victorian maple syrup holders.

The different wines that were offered were written on a chalkboard which is a creative way to be unique when presenting the wine or drink list.

Table numbers were placed in crystal doorknobs that had a clip placed at the top.
