Summer Harkness Park Wedding

This beautiful summer wedding took place at Harkness Park allowing it to have a natural backdrop of Long Island Sound.

Curly willow brought together this piece of white lisianthus, bells of Ireland, and white delphinium to make a perfect summer day creation.  The greens and whites are perfect for the season and go well with the groomsmen's attire.

The flower girl's moss covered purse and the bridesmaid's bouquet of David Austin roses and blue delphinium helped to bring together the garden summer day feel of this wedding.  The blues and whites in the flowers accented her beautiful green dress.
The centerpieces reflected the bouquets from the bride and bridesmaids.  White hydrangeas, blue delphinium, hypericum berries, white larkspur, and David Austin white roses created a perfect centerpiece that went with the color theme of blue, green, and white.  The berries were a good accent to the flowers and added a touch of green while the blue delphinium matched with the napkins on the table.

The bride's bouquet was kept to mainly David Austin white garden roses and hints of green to be different than the other bouquets but still keeping with the theme of the flowers.  The white and green looks beautiful with her white lace dress.

The flowers around the cake were similar to the center pieces on the cake and a white ribbon on the vases helped to create elegance to the look.  The blue delphiniums match the tablecloth and add a pop of color to the plain colored cake.  The ribbon also helps add in a touch that goes with the lace decorations on the cake.
